King Kong Sushi in Nortd Myrtle Beach

What’s not to love at King Kong Sushi? Between the great atmosphere when taking a break from shopping and the variety of menu options, everyone should find something to love. Personally, ordering the baked mussels as an appetizer and the spicy crab roll was great bite while beating the warm summer heat. With all the different options available, I always seem to find myself coming back for more.

One of the best sushi restaurants on the beach. I love all of the staff, the atmosphere, and the parties after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Very well done sushi. And the calamari officially took the first place spot for "Best App I've Ever Had". Good atmosphere. Responsive service. Would definitely like to go back.

Went on a day where it wasn’t busy. Service was nice, food was delicious but I would have definitely gotten the clear soup instead of the miso. Sushi and dessert was amazing! On my list to go back :)

This place was hurting for staff but made us feel like we were important. They did take a little while to get to us but when they finally did the food was amazing. The service was good even though they were short-staffed and the chefs were very skilled. Tight rolls and great cuts of fish.

Excellent quality fresh sushi, great service, at fair prices. Caution: portions are large. Consider ordering a little less and then a ordering more later if still hungry.

Great after hours spot after 10pm the doors are open for free and the restaurant turns into a club.. drinks are great ask for Brittany or Alexis great bartenders!!!! Great atmosphere..

KILLER SUSHI!!! Service was great also. The only nits I can pick based on my own preferences is that 1: the tuna tartar I think would have been better with salmon. And 2: the Russian Roulette roll I ordered had spicy salmon in it (which I knew from the get go) and it was spicier than I expected. But not so spicy I couldn't eat it. I definitely plan to go back the next time I go to the beach!

Food was great! We ordered a LOT and it didn’t take long for them to prepare it. It was so good. The tables were super sticky, which was uncomfortable. Also, when we went to the bathroom the floor was sticky too (my shoes would stick to the ground and make noise) and the toilets were dirty. Other then that, staff was nice and food was good.

We had a large group in for dinner tonight. I called at 5:30 seeking accommodations for 17 people at 6:30. The hostess was great over the phone. Our table was set up and ready to go when we arrived. The service was perfect. I wish I could remember our server's name but she handled our group wonderfully, including our complicated request to split the checks several ways. The food was amazing (as always) and even the first-timer skeptics in our group were impressed. I stop in every time I visit MB, and will continue. Thanks for the great experience!

The salad was fresh and crisp. The sushi was freshly made. My crab crunch sushi was delicious! The service was also very good.

We purchased an appetizer, two clear soups and 5 sushi rolls. Everything tasted fantastic. Atmosphere was nice. Service was excellent. This is our new favorite restaurant to visit while in Myrtle Beach!

Very good food with generous portions. The rolls were huge! The Shumai was delicious and the pieces were giant. The waitresses and hostess were all very friendly and kept coming over to make sure everything was good, very attentive. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

Whenever we go to Broadway we almost always eat here for some meal! The sushi is amazing and the service is always great! We really enjoyed our lunch here the last time we went. We tried a few new things and all of it was great!

My family had an amazing time here! We came in and got a seat quickly, the wait staff was extremely hospitable, the menu was huge (and all delicious), the big combo thing at the back of the menu is so worth it and can be split with another person definately, just come hungry. All of the food tasted super fresh and flavorful. Our waitress Bailey went above and beyond to make sure we were having an amazing experience, I hope I got her name right because she was wonderful! We will definately come back again when we return to Myrtle Beach, this is a new staple restaurant for us! It was our best meal at Broadway at the Beach!

As always it was delicious!! Take out is very easy with king kong sushi.

We come here every year on vacation! My husband and I look forward to our date night to King Kong Sushi! So many amazing choices and larger servings! I always leave beyond full!

This is my fave sushi place! A trip to Myrtle is not complete without a trip here! They were doing a great job with masks and social distancing. We had to sit outside since the only vacant tables were marked off for distancing and I love it. Could use some shade, awning, or umbrella on the patio, but the food is incredible. Already miss you, Kong!

Great sushi! The rolls are some of the biggest I've seen. The Timmy Roll is easily 4 inches in diameter. You really get a good bite of every ingredient in the roll. The taste is fresh and the sauces are delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in search of fantastic sushi while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

We stopped in for a visit after Christmas shopping. It was our 4th time there. A sign was posted that the restaurant was closing at 8 due to a company Christmas party. That’s fine with me, we were not planning on staying long. However we received our drinks, food, and a bill. The “manager” walking around in a Santa hat ignored us. We never got a refills. And completely ignored the entire time. The bathroom floors were sticky and the bar top was nasty. We understand that employees deserve a Christmas celebration and were fully ready to be done with our meal, however i feel the service should not go downhill just because your company is comping you liquor

They want to tell you how good they are. Our food was terrible. We were there for over a hour and didn't get our food. When we got it, it was terrible. Over cooked and tough. Talked to the manager, she was no help. Didn't even really apologize. We paid 1/2 our bill and left! Don't waste your money.

Lava roll may look and sound spicy but it's really not. Still very tasty but it's actually kind of sweet tasting. The spicy California roll was actually spicy though.

Surprised at how good this was. Typical sushi fare at a fair price. Got the gyoza, delicious! 2 regular rolls and 2 specialty rolls perfect amount for two people! Will return when vacationing in Myrtle Beach again!

We celebrated our 20th Anniversary here and had a really good time. The Seaweed salad was amazing as were the four different kinds of rolls we ordered. Way more than enough for two people. I can't wait to return.

The service is awesome. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The sushi was AMAZING! If you like lobster, you HAVE TO try the lobster roll.

I was on a mission to find good sushi at the beach and King Kong did not disappoint. Nice upscale casual atmosphere and awesome wait staff. We were there for lunch and got one of their lunch specials which was a surprisingly generous serving at a great price. This will be where I go for sushi next time I'm at Myrtle Beach!

Spicy tuna, cucumber roll and chicken hibachi. Hit the spot after a long day at the beach. Rice was on point compared to other hibachi place. Great presentation of food. I will be back for sure!

What is there not to love?! For starters we had shumai and edamame and both were exceptional. We then ordered 4 sushi rolls and they all hit the spot. Our server was so nice and helpful and we loved sitting outside on the water of Broadway at the Beach. Delicious sushi for all!

I’ve had good sushi and I’ve had bad sushi. This has been the worst sushi I’ve ever put in my mouth. I’m sure the rest of their menu tastes fine but I would not recommend this place to anyone interested in good sushi. Their balance of ingredients was awful, I tried 4 different rolls and most of them were overwhelming with the amount of avocado. The dragon roll had virtually no sauce and again, was 90% avocado. I love avocado but this place had no idea how to produce decent sushi.

Such a vast menu, some things I've never seen or heard of before! Regardless of if you go for the sushi or something else, there are tons of things to choose from. Super nice and attentive servers. Our glasses never got more than half empty! I've been a few times now and I know I will be back for more. Love it!

Wow. The food here is incredible. Although the atmosphere was very dark and the music very loud. The food was out of this world good. Everything we had was fantastic and served quickly. Our server was really patient with us taking time to look over the menu and did a great job. I would highly recommend this place!
